Rosmar became involved with motor racing in America in 1986 as a crew chief and mechanic for talented drivers in the Sports Car Club of America, winning three North Atlantic Road Racing Championships in three different race classes, when finally we won the Northeast National Championship in the E-production class in 2001.

In 2002, we focused our energy on our own car, the Rosmar Racing Improved Touring Sports, Mazda Rx7, driven by company owner Mark Gregory. Mark is an accomplished race car driver, mechanic, and crew chief. He has competed in over 100 races at both the amateur and professional levels. He has won his class in the Race Against Leukemia competition with car owner and co-driver Ian Linscot, at both the 3 and 6 hour endurance races at New Hampshire International Speedway for 2 years running. Last year, he qualified the car on the pole for the class and set the fastest lap of the race!

In 2005, with the help of Ian Prout and the Sports Car Driving Association, Mark drove the Rosmar Mazda RX7 in a grueling 50 lap sprint race, holding off the competition and driving to a third place podium finish at the Fire Cracker 50 professional touring car race on July 4th. This was a support race for the American Le Mans Race Series in front of 40,000 race fans at Limerock Park. In 2007, we were part of the Berg Racing Team to become winners of the Khumo Tire Endurance Race Championship.

Rosmar Racing has pursued the coveted crown of North Atlantic Road Racing Champions in the ITS division for the past 4 years, with many podium finishes and fast laps. We have competed from 2004 to 2007. Rosmar Racing finished in 4th place in 2005, and in 6th place in 2006 and in 2007. The Rosmar team will be trying to win the championship in 2008, racing the number 77 car that was prepared and engineered Rosmar Racing Motorsports.

This year's championship will be run over 14 different races and 5 different race tracks, including Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, New Hampshire International Speedway, Pocono, and the new race track at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Rosmar Racing will showcase the KVAR® Energy Controller Power conditioner and services in front of thousands of people around the country. Check out this page for race reports and updates as this year's racing gets underway, with the first championship race of the year at the New Hampshire International Speedway on April 13, 2008.

New for 2008: Rosmar Racing add a new car to the team. We have a fully prepared Mazda RX7 ITS touring sports car for rent! The car will be identical to our proven race car and is available for race weekends and performance driving lapping days. The rental includes complete track side support and driver coaching for eligible candidates. If you have your own car and would like to hone your driver skills, Mark Gregory—driver coach for Porsche Club of America, the Ferrari Club, and the Sports Car Driver Association—will be available for private lessons. Please call for details of prices and schedule.

We realized that one way we could reach out to people was through our Motorsports Program. In 2008, you will see the KVAR® logo and the “Power Factor” slogan on our race cars all over New England and the Northeast of America. We will be able to provide real-time demonstrations of the device to interested spectators and participants.
